Dear Prospective Attendee,
Prior to attending the Dale Carnegie Course, Effective Communications and Human Relations/Skills For Success, I was looking for an opportunity to develop myself personally and professionally. Working in law enforcement as an analyst came with numerous challenges. My role with a local police service challenged me to make sense of naturally difficult aspects of society. Furthermore, I needed to speak with senior management and in teams with confidence and clarity. Although I had taken some time before this class for self-reflection, I still experienced a high level of stress that had impacted my life at home and I still felt like I was stuck in a rut.
When I looked at the description for this class, I knew it was the right one for me. Indeed, the financial and personal time commitment was steep for me and I didn’t know what to expect for this class. I had taken a look at some of Mr. Carnegie’s books before, not realizing its full potential and profound impact on my life. After taking this class, I would certainly say without a doubt that it’s been the most significant and valuable investment I’ve ever made outside of my formal education.
My work colleagues have noticed a 100% change in performance and my family finally has me back as a person (instead of just a workaholic). I’ve become a much better-rounded individual because of this class, importantly a less stressed out individual, and a positive advocate for all the principles I’ve learned. As a result of this class, I’ve become more confident with public speaking despite being an introvert, developed additional networks at work that I didn’t have when I started my job, become a much more positive individual, and more confident to stretch my personal boundaries.
What I would suggest is that if you want to develop your self-confidence, improve relationships with others, speak more clearly and with conviction, develop leadership skills and improve your sphere of influence, or feel that you’re experiencing high levels of stress, then invest the time and money into this course. It will not only meet but exceed your expectations.
While I still have stressful and challenging days, I’m grateful to the Dale Carnegie trainers and my classmates for inspiring me to break through life’s challenges. The skills you will learn in this class will not just give you the formal tools to just “deal” with your own challenges, but to conquer them with confidence.
Regards,
John Ng
